Henrik Åström is an award-winning film and TV composer born in Gothenburg, Sweden. He has recorded and toured with grammy award-winning artists such as Miss Li and Glen Matlock from The Sex Pistols. After relocating to the US in 2010, he composed original film scores for a great number of filmmakers, including actor/director Peter Stormare (Fargo, Prison Break), and Alison Parker (Dude, Where’s My Ferret?, for which he won a Goldie Award for Best Music Score in 2016). Åström has scored two seasons of the acclaimed documentary series ‘Secrets of the Viking Stone’ currently airing on Science Channel/Discovery+, and written additional music for seven episodes of the Paramount+ miniseries ‘The Stand’, based on the best-selling book by Stephen King. He currently resides and has his studio in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
